How does the dinner wheel work?
Press Spin and whatever lands under the pointer is tonight's dinner. Shuffle puts eight different ideas on the wheel from a list of 40 weeknight dinners. Edit the wheel lets you type your own options, one per line, so it only picks meals your household actually eats.
The list is the kind of dinner people make or order on a normal weeknight: pasta, chili, stir-fry, tacos, soups, sheet-pan chicken, a couple of weekend projects like ribs, plus "Takeout night" and "Leftovers night" for the evenings nobody wants to cook. Your edits stay on this page. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Why use a wheel to decide what's for dinner?
Because by evening you're out of patience for choices. Most weeknight dinners are fine, so comparing them goes nowhere. A spin decides in a few seconds. If the result makes you groan, that tells you what you really wanted, and you can go make that instead.
It also takes the pressure off whoever usually decides. When the same person answers "what's for dinner?" every night, it becomes a chore. A wheel spreads the blame around, and nobody argues with it for long.
What dinners are on the wheel?
Forty weeknight classics: spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Alfredo, mac and cheese, meatloaf, pot roast, beef stew, chili, taco night, chicken fajitas, enchiladas, beef and broccoli, chicken curry, teriyaki salmon, fish tacos, shrimp scampi, jambalaya, stuffed peppers, Cobb salad and more.
Some slices are meal types, not recipes: "Breakfast for dinner", "Homemade pizza night", "Takeout night", "Leftovers night". Those are real options on a tired Tuesday, so they're on the wheel. If a dish isn't something your family eats, press Edit the wheel and swap it out. The wheel takes 2 to 16 options.
